Cavillous Characterized by caviling, or disposed to cavil; quibbing. Cavil To find fault unnecessarily; raise trivial objections.
Name: Patrick James Ward II.
Position: Auror
Personality: Pat is headstrong, and is well known for making rash decisions. Still, he is willing to sit down and listen to those he respects, and sometimes even takes their words to heart. Once fiercly loyal to the Ministry, Pat's confidence has wavered in these dark times. His attitude has become gruff and cynical, and he often fights with his coworkers over the littlest of problems. However, he continues to do his job to the best of his abilities, hoping that the Government will shine through in the end, and overcome the Dark Lord. And yet, despite the overconfidence, the rashness, overly bitter attitude, or even the penchant for drug use, those close to him know that Pat can be counted on in times of need, no matter what the scenario may be.
Biography: Pat was born 3, June of 1956, making him 24 years old. A Pureblood, born to Lestor and Tracy Ward, Pat went to Hogwarts, and was sorted into Gryffindor. He had wanted to be an Auror since he was a child, spending warm summer days playing like one with his mates. He was a bright student, excelling in DADA and Transfiguration. However, his Charm work was quite poor, and his parents feared that his dreams of fighting evil might not come true. Luckily, Pat had the help of his Ravenclaw girlfriend, Marion Carlson, and he managed to score high enough on his NEWTs to enter training. The two of them married shortly after graduating from Hogwarts, and then had twins, Robin and Jaclyn. The happy home life was shortlived, however. Two years ago Patrick returned home to find the Dark Mark hovering over his small house. He rushed inside to find his wife dead, murdered by Death Eaters with the Killing Curse. It was obvious that she had been tortured long before her death. He sent his two children to stay with his mother, and moved into a small flat in London. He visits them occassionally, though not often enough, as his mother often nags.
